22 YEAR OLD RUNS FOR MINNEAPOLIS MAYOR ON 'IS AWESOME'
I am a serious candidate for Mayor of Minneapolis. This article, in the absence of any discussion of the issues facing the city, is disturbing. As well as being an employed musician, I have run a business for almost 30 years and have been involved at various levels in political and civic endeavors. This is the first year Minneapolis has used RCV as a voting method and that changes the dynamic of any election. The people of Minneapolis should be embarrassed and angry that this is the kind of coverage the local news media is giving an important election. - Papa John Kolstad

1) I am awesome.
How could anyone be embarrassed or angered by this coverage? If anything, I think the city deserves more news dedicated to how awesome I am. - Joey Lombard

Mr Kolstad, you seem a tad defensive. I wonder how serious a candidate can be when he cannot decide whether he is Republican or Green. These two parties are not known for having a great deal of overlapping platforms.
